Global outsourcing leader successfully implements Centric PLM to unify product data and streamline product development
CAMPBELL, Calif., February 24, 2026 – Centric Software® is pleased to announce that B’Lao-Scavi, a leader in global outsourcing services for intimate apparel and activewear, has gone live with Centric PLM™ to drive digitalization and operational excellence. Centric Software delivers innovative, integrated, end-to-end AI-powered enterprise solutions to take products from concept to commercialization. Fashion, luxury, footwear, outdoor, home, cosmetics & personal care as well as multi-category retail teams can plan, design, develop, source, comply, buy, make, price, allocate, assort, sell and replenish products to achieve strategic and operational digital transformation goals.
B’Lao-Scavi was the first FDI organization in Vietnam, with 100% of its capital invested from France in 1988. B’Lao-Scavi specializes in global outsourcing services for the lingerie, swimwear, sportswear and activewear industries and has built partnerships with leading international fashion brands in Europe, North America, Australia and Asia. With a global workforce of 20,000 employees, B’Lao-Scavi operates multiple production sites strategically located in Vietnam, France and Laos, achieving an annual production capacity of over 90 million pieces.
As a major exporter to more than 50 international fashion brands worldwide, B’Lao-Scavi recognized that continued growth and increasing product complexity called for a more structured approach to managing product and technical information across design, development and sourcing teams.
“As our operations scaled, product and technical information was shared across spreadsheets, emails and multiple file versions,” says Quoc Nam Tran, IT Director at B’Lao-Scavi. “We saw an opportunity to bring this information together in a PLM system to improve data consistency and enable smoother collaboration across teams.”
B’Lao-Scavi’s rigorous vendor evaluation led to Centric Software, whose industry specialization and innovative approach matched the company’s strategic vision. “We chose Centric Software among other PLM providers because they have deep expertise in the fashion and manufacturing industry. It is also aligned with how we innovate and optimize our product roadmap,” explains Tran.
The successful implementation in Phase 1 established the foundation for B’Lao-Scavi’s digital transformation, centralizing product and material data and standardizing how specifications are created and shared. This creates a single source of truth, improving visibility and alignment across teams. “We needed to get the fundamentals right first, centralizing our material libraries and specifications in Centric PLM before layering on advanced capabilities,” notes Quoc Tu Nguyen, Information Systems Director at B’Lao-Scavi.
In the next phase of implementation, B’Lao-Scavi will expand the use of Centric PLM across its value chain to further connect internal teams, customers and suppliers within a single platform. The focus is on centralizing development processes and strengthening ecosystem connectivity, with 3D design capabilities integrated within Centric PLM to enable more efficient collaboration and decision-making across product development.
For B’Lao-Scavi, digital transformation means capturing the complete story of every product, from the initial sketch through to final delivery. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Linh, Chief Operating Officer (COO) at B’Lao-Scavi, explains that every product has both a “body” and a “soul.” “The body is physical garment,” says Nguyen. “The soul is the technical product data. Before Centric PLM, this information was fragmented across countless spreadsheets. Now, Centric PLM ensures all technical product data lives and evolves with its product from initial concept through to the end consumer.”
Fabrice Canonge, CEO of Centric Software, says, “We are delighted that B’Lao-Scavi, a pioneer in the apparel outsourcing industry, has chosen Centric Software to achieve their digitalization goals. With the successful implementation of Centric PLM, we are confident that B’Lao-Scavi will thrive now and into the future.”
